Your Hosts - Julia & Phillip Robertson
Phillip is a local Police Officer and has spent many years involved in Search & Rescue. As well as this, he is a volunteer Ambulance Officer (EMT) with St John. His other interests include hiking, fishing, motorbikes, DIY, woodwork, metalwork, painting and photography. He is passionate about Fiordland and keen to help guests appreciate the unique environment we live in.
Julia is an ex Medical Secretary and has travelled extensively throughout the UK, Europe, Australia and the Pacific Islands. She now runs the B&B full time. Her interests include cooking, drawing, hiking and gardening and she has a Diploma in Wine. She has hand picked a selections of wines available for guests to purchase. She has a good knowledge of the area and is able to advise on and book any of the many Fiordland tours on your behalf.
We have two very friendly Birman seal point cats - Latte (16 years) and Meg (4 years). You are welcome to pet them but they are strictly not allowed in guest rooms.
