Modern Spacious Rooms
Our 4 beautifully appointed guest rooms are named after New Zealand native birds found locally and have modern tiled ensuite bathrooms with powerful showers, underfloor heating, heated towel rails, hairdryers, fluffy towels and bathrobes and pure organic lavender toiletries are provided . What can you expect as a guest?
Breakfast is a social occasion where guests swap stories and information while tucking into a delicious continental plus cooked breakfast. Our dining room has stunning views of the Murchison mountains and our beautiful garden. Alternatively, if you want to sleep in or have a very early start, you can have a special breakfast hamper delivered to your room.
Enjoy a game of Petanque, soak in our heated hydrothrapy spa pool or just relax on the sunny deck with a glass of wine.
All rooms have unlimited (complimentary) broadband internet connection, DVD player and TV. We have a selection of DVD movies for you to borrow free of charge plus a selection of books. There is complimentary port, soft drinks and home baked cookies in your room and of course tea/coffee making facilities, plus the convenience of a microwave and fridge.
Local attractions and tour operators
All local tour operators pick up from our door and we offer an informed tour booking service. We have plenty of off-street parking and are happy for you to leave your car in our parking lot if you are away tramping (hiking) or doing an overnight cruise. We are also happy to on-book accommodation within New Zealand for you.
Why not stay a few days and enjoy day trips to both Milford and Doubtful Sounds. Take a short (or long) walk on the famous Kepler Track (just a few minutes from here), a Jetboat or Helicopter ride to see Lord of the Rings scenery or, if you have limited time here, why not take a scenic flight - the breathtaking mountain scenery will leave you in awe of this dramatic region. We are happy to provide information and bookings for these services.
