We have plenty of free off-street parking and are happy for you to leave your car if you are away tramping or doing an overnight cruise.
Milford Sound is a two-hour drive that should be done at leisure to experience the viewpoints and walks along the way. There are many cruises available on the Sound and if you prefer not to drive you can take one of the many local tours available.
